Gus and Jerry decided to build a trebuchet for school. Last week we had built a table top model out of wood, but were disappointed with the 15 foot throw distance. The poor thing was just worn out! Saturday morning, I ordered plans for this model made out of PVC. After numerous trips to the store and a manufacturing line on the deck, we were ready to take our first test shots that very afternoon. The original design was modified by replacing the 5 pound weight with a ten pound weight.
